Foreign IT Companies Ready to Invest in Indonesia

After the government is committed to providing an incentive exemption or reduction of income tax (tax holiday), many corporate information technology (IT) foreigners intending to invest in Indonesia

It is stated the Director General of Industry Leading High Technology Based Industry Ministry Budi Darmadi. Foreign companies that want to invest in the IT industry in Indonesia, among others, came from France, China, Scandinavia, the United States, South Korea, and Japan.

Value of the investment itself worth 3 billion dollars per year. "As he said U.S. companies want to invest and manufacture of radar CCB circuit box," he said, Friday (30/12/2011).

Budi promised to pursue foreign companies that get tax holiday when the realization of its investment in Indonesia. Because, he reasoned this investment will reduce the dependence of domestic industry against imports.

During this time, he admitted to spending at least spend the telecoms industry working fund of Rp 150 trillion per year. The funds were spent to purchase components, sub-components to the assembly that the majority of their raw materials come from overseas.
